No two candles are identical
CANDLE SAFETY:
If you burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time, carbon will collect on the wick, and your wick will “mushroom”.
This can cause the wick to become unstable, and produce a dangerously large flame and your candle to smoke, and soot to be released into the air and around your candle container.
CANDLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS :
Before lighting your candle check your wick length to be no more than 5mm .
Place your candle on a flat secure surface with a plate underneath, as some candles are higher than the glassware rim and can overflow.
Remove plastic or protective coverings .
Your first burn should only be until your wax starts to “pool” approximately 10-15 minutes, then extinguish your candle and trim your wick .This step may need several times.
As many of our candles have tops that are “Whipped” it means that the wax is quicker to burn, meaning that the wick will “Mushroom” and cause a higher flame. EXTINGUSH CANDLE IMMEDIATELY…
ALWAYS TRIM YOUR WICK BETWEEN BURNING
Recommend burning times no longer than 2 hours at a time.
Make sure your candle is away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and flammable materials and not in the reach of children, pets or unattended.
NEVER BURN YOUR CANDLE COMPLETELY TO THE END, AS THIS CAN CAUSE YOUR GLASSWARE TO CRACK OR EXPLODE DUE TO INTENSE HEAT.
